We are often asked why we chose Amaranth Collection? The name Amaranth means never fading. From the very beginning, we believe that three things about business should be never fading: Loyalty, Service, and Good Attitudes. It is our ultimate goal to provide our customers with the most unique shopping experience of boutiques in Tulsa and online boutiques. We want our customers to feel appreciated, catered to, and cheered up by their interaction with our store. We understand we have set a tall order to fill and we hold to that commitment with a steadfast attitude. We are always happy to be improving our service and quality of product for our customers.
Elizabeth Whitehead started Amaranth Collection in 2011. Originally she started her company as complete services boutique, offering a few accessories and focusing on image and communication consulting for pageant contestants. As the business grew, she found her passion in helping customers find the perfect outfit for any and every event. In January of 2012, Elizabeth launched a full line of clothing and accessories out of her space located off of 71st street in Tulsa. With a quaint and quiet location, she saw this as an opportunity to provide a top-notch service experience to customers while providing clothing that is unique and cannot be seen in every boutique around town.
What’s the greatest thing about the unique clothing? It’s affordable! When asked why she decided to start the boutique, Elizabeth Whitehead said, “I started this boutique because I spent many years competing in pageants and loving fashion with the mindset that only good things come with high price tags, I want to share with women all over the nation that you can look great while keeping your bank account happy. While I can agree with every lady that a splurging on a fabulous pair of shoes every now and then is a wonderful feeling, it isn’t always practical for all of us. I want to give women a valued shopping experience without the scary price tags. I will always be searching for the best and cutest for our boutique at the best prices. On top of everything, customer service is one of my greatest aspirations behind starting Amaranth Collection. It means the world to me to create a bond of loyalty with our customers that let’s them know we actually care about the person and not the paycheck. Of course, we make a living off of this boutique, but it is not our motivation behind providing the absolute best, we truly care about customer satisfaction.”
